These are two things I try to remember when things get tough. I know if I never give up, and strive for my goals, sooner or later something positive has to happen. I also try not to be so rigid in my approach that I'm unable to bend around obstacles, but never loosing sight of your ultimate goal is important.
The "always be thankful" attitude should help ensure I stay happy and motivated through the process....sometimes easier said then done. In trying to remember to be thankful, even in times of great stress, I remind myself that the only reason that I'm finding myself in a challenging situation is because I'm moving towards my ultimate goal.
I understand that it could seem to be a "simple" approach, but heck, it works for me.
